The property was much better than described on the hostel bookers website. although further from nelson than anticipated (35min) the pleasant peaceful surrounds and facilities more than compensated. Read all Mount Richmond Resort reviews

Overview

Situated only 1.5km from the turn off to French Pass, where kayaking is available in a large number of bays of the Marlborough Sounds. Hire a kayak at Cissy or Elaine Bay. A sail boat is an option at French Pass. Many walks through native bush at Pelorus Bridge just 7 mins away by car.
