Liked: Very clean and good location in a non-touristy part of town. Very close to affordable restaurants, cafes, and shopping. Many excellent restaurants, cafe's and small shops around. Stay where other Parisians lives yet still be able to jump on the metro just a 2 or 3 blocks away to visit the tourist locations. Located in between St. Ambroise and Voltaire stops. Can even get on a sepearte line at the Paramentier station just a few minutes farther.

Liked: Friendly staff, it's more of a hotel (2 stars) than a hostel so very quiet which was what we wanted.Room was basic but v.clean. It's location was great.

Liked: It had a very good location and was clean but the security was poor. The front door was supposed to always be locked, but wasnt and the reception wasnt ,anned all the time and you were expected to just pick your own key off the hook, so anyone could have gotten in to your room.

Liked: I liked the fact that it was a quiet neigborhood. Metro was close enough and the bakery on the corner was great every morning. didn't bother going to the breakfast at the hotel.
