The drive to Playa Hermosa from the airport takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes From the airport you should go west on Route 1. On Route 1 - follow signs to San Ramon, for 10 km. Get in the right lane and take the next exit for Route 3 for Jaco / Quepos. Turn left at the stop sign, crossing back over Route 1 towards La Garita. Follow Route 3 for about 3 km. Look for a Christian church on the left and then a soccer field and then make a left on route 136 immediately after it. You are now on the road to Turrucares. Drive for another 3 km until you reach the highway intersection turn left BEFORE you go under the highway bridge. Again, there are no signs here yet. After some 300 meters you will arrive at a roundabout. Make a sharp right signed to Orotina up the slip road onto the Autopisa del Sol. After 2 toll booths take the next right exit to Route 34, follow signs for Jaco . Follow Route 34 past Herradura and Continue to Jaco stay on the main highway folowing the signs for Playa Hermosa. When you arrive in Playa Hermosa you will see several small hotels, restaurants, and a soccer field. At the end of Hermosa you will see the Back Yard Bar. Keep heading south passing the bar until you see the sign for Las Brisas Resort and turn left down the dirt road (100 meters after the Backyard). There is also a bus stop on the corner as a landmark. This road is Calle Hermosa. Go 800 meters down the road until you see the sign for Las Brisas on your left.
