Liked: David is about the most likable person you could want running a hostel. Great atmosphere with lots of freedom. Met some other travellers here and we had several epic adventures. David does whatever he can to make your experience better. More like a home than a hotel.

Liked: Very good place to stay with a really chill and cozy atmosphere. It's a bit of a walk to the Subway station and a bit far out, but other than that it's great.

Disliked: Not much really

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel ! small but relaxing atmosphere, very well maintained place and friendly staff. I am traveling for almost a year now and that is one of the best place I've stayed so far ! thank you so much

Liked: Not much; The owner tried to be helpful Use of kitchen

Disliked: Owner was a bit rude at first then when we paid he was super friendly. Facilities are very outdated. The walk to get the subway is not too bad (about 12 blocks) but the ride to Manhattan is about an hour (tiring). The beds are uncomfortable-guess you get what you pay for. Room was cold, blankets were to thin and all we had was a broken heater.

Liked: It's very clean. There are a lot of shops within walking distance.

Disliked: You need around 40 minutes to get to Manhattan with the subway.
