Liked: The people in the hostel were very friendly and the place was very clean and felt very safe. The location was great, close enough to get to the subway and far enough away to be quiet. David was a great host as well, he knew such a lot about the things to do in New York.

Disliked: There was no sign outside, though this couldn't be helped!

Liked: This place is AWESOME!! Its nice and cozy and the common room is great to just relax. Its a home away from home. The rooms are nice and comfortable as well. The staff was beyond nice. Dave is a great host and a real funny guy. The atmosphere is great!

Liked: Clean, nice, cozy apartment. Felt like staying at a friend's place.

Disliked: Too far away from Manhattan, took about 1 h to get there, including the 15 min walk to the subway station. Felt a little bit sketchy coming to the final stop of the grey subway line.
