Liked: It's very clean. There are a lot of shops within walking distance.
Disliked: You need around 40 minutes to get to Manhattan with the subway.

Liked: The Internet worked very good, kind and friendly other guests The common room is nice, but loud action tv or ego-shooter-games all day and night long,
Disliked: The rooms are awful: 8 sqm for 6 people, one shower for 14 people, the staff sleeps in the same dorm as the guests The owner/staff has obsessive ideas about rules, but only for the guests, he himselft does not follow them, does not accord to agreements for example pick-up times. He also is very greedy for money, you have to pay for everythind, for example for keeping your luggage for a few hours until your bus goes. In the common room there is loud action tv or ego-shooter games all day and night long

Liked: The place has a very homely feel about it, because the owner has simply converted an apartment into a hostel. For this reason it is great to relax here, watch a movie, play a video game.
Disliked: The location couldn't be much worse. It's 15 - 20 minute walk to the nearest metro stop, and there aren't buses. The shops in the area aren't that great and are also 10 - 15 minute walk away so quite inconvenient. If you want to be going into manhattan every day then it's also a bit of a trek, usually taking 40 or 50 minutes once you get on the train.

Liked: All the extra like PS3 and the big flat screen, but I mean you're in New York. How cares about staying in a hostel. The city is the life!!!!!
Disliked: The location is worse, the neighbourhood is okay.
