Liked: Great location, right next to Plaza Espana. Our fellow travelers were interesting to talk to. Building is pretty secure and our door lock worked well.
Disliked: Had to ask to get keys for the free lockers, and even then we only got some. Only got one key for a group of 6. Also, beware of what time you have to be out: depending on who you talk to, it'll be different.

Liked: 2 bed dorms - which you don't normally find in hostels
Disliked: doors don't lock automatically in the rooms, i.e. you have to lock them yourself and when sharing with someone this does not always happen.

Liked: Needs a kitchen for the customers as I'd always needed to go out for lunch or wait for the lunch time tables which wasn't suitable as I prefer cooking my own food. Everything else was great value for the money but again a lounge and kitchen needs to be in, as a lot people can benefit from this.
Disliked: Close lounge area, I personally had to ask to get the door unlocked, and I was lucky as I can speak quite okay Spanish but people who don't this could be a problem.
