Liked: Some of the staff members were friendly. The kitchen was good, only a bit crowded in the morning if have to say something negative of it. Good that there was something to eat for the breakfast, though full corn products are more this day..

Disliked: Pure disappointment. We got huge anxiety when we realized that we really were in trap - only one drunken smoker in the hostel is needed and all the guests would die to the smoke. One fire alarm in the hall way don't safe anyone, it was just an accessory on the roof. Especially if there was not even a blinking light when we observed it. There was no fresh air, the fans didn't help actually at all, just made the July heat a bit cooler. The hostel is very dark, lightning was poor and no natural light at all. Our room was located next to the toilet (ventilation window from the bathroom was next to our ventilation window) and we heard unfortunately all the voices... Some staff members (almost every day a new face during one week) didn't take any contact to the guests. When asking help to pretty simple touristic question, the receptionist was very unwilling to help. He had a friend to chat with so we were obviously just disturbing him.. Tidiness was pretty poor and cleaner behaved toward the guests very unfriendly, for example stared next to us when we were making up (weren't on her way). She also used the ordinary hand soap to clean up the shower pool. That tells everything how clean there was. In the toilet smelled always pee. The walls and doors were just dirty, covered with black finger etc. prints. They offered only the fresh bottom sheet.

Liked: Great little hostel. Staff is really friendly (but not pushy, which is great). Worth to get all sort of info from them (e.g. eating at less-touristic places:). Location is great - close to metro, but also close enough to some sights, that you can choose walking and see some city. Breakfast just got an upgrade to genuine Nutella:D (for all Nutella fans)

Liked: the friendliness of the staff, our room had a fan, it was decorated nicely as well, we were permitted to take a shower on the day that we checked out up until 24 00

Disliked: the website advertised that there would be eggs in the morning but we never had any at breakfast

Liked: Staff very friendly and helpful, 24 hours a day. Buba House is very small, like staying in somebody's appartment but the atmosphere is lovely. Close to metro, direct train to airport. Free breakfast, access to kitchen and internet, free wifi, big lockers in every room. Quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

Disliked: Further away from central Barcelona than I realised but not too far ... as long as you have a map it's fine!

Liked: The buba house has everything you want from a hostel. well equipped kitchen, internet, comunal area, good location, freindly, helpful staff,...

Liked: The staff was really friendly. He helped us with rouths too. There was a kitchen which was great. Wifi was accessible successfully all day

Disliked: There were only two plugs. It was annoying cuz one is for fan and one for the light. The light of the room was extremely dim.
