Disliked: showers were way to small and the flushing of the toilet sounded like someone was flushing in our room.

Liked: Location is fantastic, walking distance to the heart of Barcelona (or else 1 metro stop away), which is basically Catalunya metro area. Also near to the "Block of Discord" which consists of attractions such as Casa Amatller, Casa Battlo and Casa Lleó-Morera Friendly staff who spoke english. Good wifi connection, and also has a computer terminal for usage. Clean toilets. Chilled and quiet atmosphere, very safe. (May not be the place for travellers looking to meet new friends and party away) Free breakfast of cereal, bread, tea/coffee. Kitchen with microwave, stove, fridge and utensils.
Disliked: Rooms very painted colourfully, but the lighting and lack of sunlight from windows made it look dull still. Carpet looked old too. However, not an issue at all. Shower cubicles were a little small for the rooms which were 1 floor below the reception. However the shower cubicles at the reception level were bigger. Again, not a problem, more of a slight hindrance. Rooms weren't cleaned up daily (could be a good or bad thing depending on traveller's preference as some won't like people entering their rooms) Had certain difficulty finding. It's at 239 carrer arago, from the street, to enter the buliding, press the button with the green sticker. Once inside the building, go up 3 floors and looking for the door with the green flower painted.

Liked: helpful friendly staff. wonderfully comfortable beds, clean, well thought out facilities relaxed good advice on local scams, pickpocketing which came in very handly and instantly recognised the indicators (someone asking for directions with a map with second person then approaching who claimed to be police officer - but refused to show us proof, etc)
Disliked: all good. no bad issues at all.

Liked: It's location is perfect for exploring, really close to everything. Staff were really friendly and helpful - pointed out great places for us to go/eat. Really clean.
Disliked: Not the best place for meeting other travellers if alone, but this is perfect for couple or groups of friends. Would have preferred a safe or locker in our room.

Liked: it was chill and pretty quiet. staff were really nice.
Disliked: it was small which is fine but the kitchen was particularly small which made it really difficult to get breakfast in the morning and sometimes hard to find a place tos it but then one morning i was the only one there so really just depends.
