Our room was large and well ventilated. The hostel was clean in general. The shared bathrooms were frequently. The staff were very friendly. The shared area for eating was clean and the dishes were taken care of. It is very close to the subway and bus stations. The market is close by. By the way, there is a diner right across the main street when you turn left upon exiting the hostel. A chinese (?) family owns it. I also recommend that place for eating. Overview

Hostel Valls, located right next to the Ophthalmologic Centre Barraquer, is a familiar place with more than 50 years of experience. It is located in a residential area with a wide range of shops, restaurants and entertainment.

We are 15 min. walk from the famous avenue Paseo de Gracia, famous for its boutiques and two great works of Gaudi (La Pedrera and Casa Batlló) and lead us to the center of Barcelona, where we find the Plaza de Catalunya and the Ramblas. The hostel is very good communicated to anywhere of the city.

There is a laundry nearby.

The nearest metro station is Muntaner, but we are also near Diagonal and Fontana, only 10 minutes walk.

Next to the property you can find a bus station which takes you directly to the center of the city.
