Liked: Very good location, very clean but the rooms are pretty small and the doors produce a very strong noise when are closed. Sometimes is difficult for sleep. If you dont mind this, i really recommend this hostel.
Disliked: Very noisy.

Liked: Amazing old building with nice touches like fresh flowers. I loved the massive kitchens and efforts to be eco-friendly (recycling bins, nutella drinking glasses,,,) The location was wonderful and the hostel is very secure and quite clean considering the number of guests.
Disliked: The directions for finding the hostel fail to mention the various streets that turn into other streets. I got a little lost...

Liked: Huge kitchen available for use. Right next to the Castle and at the top of old town, great location. Stafford were good, beds comfy, individual lockers, plenty of showers.
Disliked: We stayed there for 2 nights. While we were there a girl had her laptop taken from her bed, another person had a mobile phone stolen. Also, we left our food in the fridge downstairs and it was all stolen. Very disappointing.

Liked: The location of this hostel is very good, very easy to go to and from train station and most famous tourist spots, since it is close to royal mile. The decoration for the hostel is full of Scottish culture and history.
Disliked: 1. It will be better to have free Wi-Fi in bedrooms, not only limited in a specific room. 2. Some people returned to the hostel in midnight or even later, and their noises and actions such as turning on the light really bothered sleeping people. If the hostel tries to solve this problem, it will be perfect!
