Liked: location location location, the view is amazing right across from the castle and down the road from the royal mile. the hostel has funky decorations and good security. the mac backpacker tours leve from here wich made things easy for me.
Disliked: breakfast wasen't included, be warned the great location is up hill from the train station and if you have lots of bags i recomend a taxi mine cost £4

Liked: Great location, excellent communal facilities, staff were really helpful recommending restaurants, things to do etc.
Disliked: Rooms are a little small but can't complain for the price and the rest of the hostel made up for this
