Liked: Fairly well-located, reasonably clean, comfortable enough beds, basic breakfast. It's not bad, but there is really nothing to recommend it.
Disliked: Very noisy. Two women and two small children were staying and allowed their children to scream (literally, scream) for hours each morning, waking everyone up. It was disappointing that the staff did not ask them to be quiet. The bathrooms are quite dank and unpleasant. No real communal area to speak of. The staff made no attempt to be friendly or even cordial, unlike at every other Russian hostel we stayed at.

Liked: There was nothing I really liked about this hostel at all.
Disliked: I cannot believe who different this hostel was to it´s description! I would not recommend this hostel at all to anyone. It was one of the worst I have ever stayed at. There is too much to write here that was wrong with the hostel. I am assuming it is under new management? Not sure what has gone wrong.

Liked: Sheets and towel were provided. Staff on hand all the time. Bathroom facilities good. Near Kursk train station.
Disliked: Staff didn't speak English. No internet access. No locked luggage room, so I had to leave my bags in the room.
