Liked: The bar area/bartenders were very friendly
Disliked: In an unfortunate turn of events I fractured my ankle while at Wild Rover so I was there for ~5 days. While some of the staff was helpful (Ben at the bar), many of them were rude and completely unhelpful.

Liked: Brilliant social side and very good to meet people and have a few drinks. Very good showers and beds are big and comfortable.
Disliked: Bedrooms above the bar so no way to get an early night if needed.

Disliked: The hot water here is solar so there is no hot water in the morning until about 10 or 11 depending on the weather.

Liked: Awesome hostel with a fun bar in it. 2 happy hours, specials every night, good food. Nice social atmosphere right in the center if town. You can't go wrong !

Liked: Definitely a party hostel, this is a great place to be if you want to socialise, meet new people, experience very fast and dependable wifi, and be quite close to the main square in Arequipa. We stayed here twice and would recommend a double bed private over the dorms for security and comfortability. It's a huge hostel with helpful staff, a bar and lunch / dinner options. Probably not for the older generation of travelers, but definitely a good idea if you're young and keen to meet new people.
