Liked: This hostel was pretty decent - there was a security door that people had to get buzzed through by the staff in order to enter the hostel section of the place (it's also a bar), there was internet onsite for 1 euro per half-hour, and it's right in the middle of the Red Light District. It's a very kitschy place - we were surprised by our room, which had paintings of different sexual acts all over it... if you can find the humor in that like we did, it's great. There's an elevator, the beds are comfy and the bathrooms are clean.

Liked: The location and as a backpacker's hotel is good. However, it is really pricey but I guess they take advantage of the location and the prices of accommmodation in the city, which are generally expensive for what they offer.

Liked: It is conveniently located and offers all the basic things you need but on the whole is overpriced for what you get...At the same time, that seems to be the way things go in Amsterdam in terms of accommodation.

Liked: Fantastic location, nice drink specials before 11pm. It's expensive for a hostel, but they all are in Amsterdam anyway.
