Liked: Dorm was big with good ventilation. The lounge/kitchen area is great for meeting people and Tim will answer any questions you may have. Choice of two supermarkets close by. Great place to stay while in Budapest.

Liked: Really great location, staff were very helpful an make you feel at home. Rooms were soacious and everyone had a safe to put their belongings in which was handy. Loved the restuarants Tim suggested really good Hungarian food :)

Liked: This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at! Not only is Tiger Tim extremely helpful, he also is super fun and personable. The hostel is clean and feels safe. The location is great and the general atmosphere of the place is relaxed and open.

Liked: I have been traveling for four months and staying in a lot of hostels but I would definitely put Tiger Tim's up there as one of the best! Tim is super helpful and sits down with every person who checks in, gives you a map, and shows you all the sites to see, things to do, and cheap yummy places to eat. Plus there is an awesome communal atmosphere. Every night there is a predrink party in the hostel and then they take you out to a different bar every night. Plus it was clean, super safe, there was a kitchen and wifi and computers to use, free coffee and tea, everything you could need. And Tim was always around to help out and answer questions. It was an amazing hostel. Also really central, directly across from the train station and within waking distance of everything. We miss you already Tiger Tim!

Liked: I would like to emphasize the helpfulness of the staff. Also liked the atmosphere and the remarkable location of the property, which is a good choice for those travellers, who are looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to be the base of experience the best of Budapest. Hey, Tim! Thank You for the excellent hosting. See you again!

Liked: This was an all around wonderful experience. I only stayed one night but the staff made me feel completely at home. We went for a pub crawl and visited some really cool bars. Even though I didn't stay at the hostel longer, I was invited to join them another night out at the bars as I was staying alone in Budapest. Thanks so much to Tim, Niina, and Andrew...they were all lovely people. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you are traveling alone. If I ever go back to Budapest, I will stay there!

Disliked: Nothing. It was just wonderful :-)
