Liked: The location was great, very close to the metro station, and the instruction from the time of booking made the hostel fairly easy to find. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs in the vicinity, as well as grocery stores. The place was clean and quite cosy, I particularly liked the kitchen with the free tea / coffee cooking facilities. The staff was nice and helfpul.
Disliked: The lock on my room was a little funny, I had trouble locking the door from the inside even though from the outside it was just fine. The walls are quite thin but I didn't fin it particularly disturbing.

Liked: Near transport, restaurants, shops, easy to get to from airport, big room, central location, towels included, big lockers (deposit for key), free Wi-Fi, staff very helpful for info re transport/opening times etc
Disliked: No PC access, kitchen sink generally full of staff's dirty washing up, duvets very thin but given blankets when asked ( wouldn't be enough in the winter), common room area used by staff and their friends so quite noisy in evenings.

Liked: I have been to a few hostels so far, but Barocco was the friendliest place I stayed at! The staff is great, good location in the centre, clean and stylish! The staff knows everything about the city and night-life! I can highly recommend this place to those who would like to stay with locals and would like to know more about Budapest and Hungary.
