Liked: The owners were really friendly and helpful. It was our first stop in Cuba and their recommendations made our trip hassle free and very enjoyable. The apartment is located in a quiet area of Vedado. It takes about 5 minutes to get to the (very busy) city centre by car; so it's perfect if you value a good night rest while being conveniently located. The homemade breakfast was really really good.

Liked: I have been several times to Cuba, and Mylena and Otto is my preferred place. I feel immediately at home there, and would recommend them wholeheartedly. The rooms are fresh and modern, clean and comfortable. Mylena and Otto are very warm and friendly, and speak excellent English, They will prepare a delicious breakfast for you, served on the balcony (or inside if you prefer), with fruit of the season, eggs, toast, coffee, freshly made juice. They will go out of their way to help you with any questions. The location is in a quiet and safe neighborhood in Vedado, close to the Malecon and Calle 23, where you can get taxis to the city centre easily.

Liked: The home of Mylena y Otto was our first stop in Cuba and though the weather wasn´t so "Cuban" the first days the friendly atmosphere in their Casa Particular made us decide to come back the last days before we would leave Cuba two and a half week later.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Mylena and Ottos positive attitude, very helpfull in all ways, serviceminded, good in english (as I do not speak spanish), great breakfast. I had the room with direct access to the terrase - I recomend that room!

Disliked: There is actually nothing to dislike! If anything - as others have stated - a bit too far from the old town. It's not a problem. Get PUC the local currency and you get there almost "for free" :o)

Liked: Great apartment with balcony.

Disliked: If you are looking for something in the middle of the action, not the place for you. The property is located in a quiet neighbourhood.

Liked: All. The patience of Mylena and Otto, for all my questions. A tasty breakfast, good coffee, a great view from the balcony, clean rooms, a safe neighbourhood. We love this place...

Liked: Otto and Mylena are very nice people and Otto speaks fluent English. As this was our first stop in Cuba and as our Spanish language skills are limited, it was very helpful to have Otto available to answer questions and help get us oriented.

Disliked: The property is away from the main "action sites" in Havana however, we enjoy walking so it wasn't a problem. Also, taxi fares are very reasonable.

Liked: I stayed for one night at Mylena y Otto with my parents and my brother. We had a very nice stay. Mylena was very helpful and the place is nice and clean. I would recommend it without hesitation! Thank you.

Liked: The hosts, Mylena and Otto, were absolutely wonderful. We stayed for two nights in December and are so glad we did. They greeted us with a smile, were more than helpful on all the questions we had. We could not have asked for a better host!

Disliked: There were no issues with the property, except the distance from Old Havana. It's great if you are looking for a local feel for Havana but can be a little annoying in the mornings with noise from the streets.

Liked: Mylene and Otto are impeccable hosts who will welcome you in their home and will gladly help you out during your stay with them. Breakfast is excellent and has intergral bread - a feature for Cuba! Enjoy it on the balcony. Don't be put off by the location, it is very easy and cheap to get to Habana Vieja from Vedado, taxi collectivos will drive you there for 1 CUC for 2 people (20 mins). Vedado is a lush and interesting area that you would otherwise not visit.

Disliked: Nothing to really dislike, if they have room this is the place to be in Havana.
