Liked: I loved everything about this hostel! I wish we would have stayed there longer. Loved Jose, he was a lifesaver and helped us with our transportation to other parts of Costa Rica... when we arrived to Monteverde it was already dark out, but they had a staff person waiting for us at the bus station which was a miracle since we were so nervous about finding our way around a tiny town in the dark! They let us use the hostel ipad to make calls to the US to let our family know we had arrived in CR safe and sound... that was also a miracle since our phones had no signal. Breakfast was also delicious.... just can't say enough great things about this place! Make sure to include this place on your trip to Costa Rica, you won't be disappointed!!!

Disliked: There was nothing that I disliked about this hostel, but I didn't LOVE the 4 hour drive on the bus through the mountain roads to get to this hostel from the airport. That part sucked.

Liked: Clean and comfortable, friendly staff, free wifi&coffee, great value for money.

Disliked: Getting there is quite an adventure due to road condtion, but that applies to any location in the Monteverde area.

Liked: The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful...even with activities in other parts of Costa Rica. It was like having a local family member that had no other agenda other than wanting you to have the best possible experience in this country.

Liked: The staff were brilliant. The view was stunning from the cabino. The breakfast was delicious with a great choice. Overall it was brilliant value for money and I definitely recommend this as a place to stay.
