Liked: Hostal was clean and had a nice patio to relax. Pedro, the owner of hostal, was kind enough to give information the city and to go to Tayrona. Also, he helped me out to make a reservation to transporation to Cartagena. I stayed there only one night during semana santa. Since i didn't see many people near hostal because of semana santa, I can' t rate the location, but it is convenient in the historical town and there is a supermarket in a few minites by walk.

Liked: The hostel was quiet and seemed to have a well equiped kitchen.
Disliked: We booked our stay here through hostelbookers.com on the same day that we planned to arrived, we payed a deposit to ensure our accommodation. However, when we arrived to the hostel we were told that they were full. We were offered to either stay in an other hostel or in the patio for 18,000 pesos each. We agreed to sleep in the patio. When we wanted to check out in the morning the owner or employee did not want to take into account that we had already paid a deposit through hostalbookers. He expected us to pay the full amount of our night`s stay, plus breakfast, in addition to the deposit we had already paid online. After a long dispute with this man he became so furious that he threw the money we had given him (which was the full amount not including our deposit) on the table and did not want to accept any money from us, telling us to just leave without paying for anything.

Liked: The gate to the entrance of the building was always secure.
Disliked: The property was in bad condition, and electrics did not work properly sometimes. The facilities were very basic and not worth the money.
