Liked: Everything was wonderful! Lily came out to meet us when we called her and she showed to our room right away. She was extremely helpful with awesome tips on where to go and how to get there. I had read some reviews before booking about this place being loud but it wasn't at all the first night we stayed there, perhaps because it was after Chinese New Year's. There was loud music the second night since the hostel is close to a bar but that ended around 12-1 AM. Overall, much better than I had expected and a great place to stay.

Disliked: The shower didn't have constant hot water (it would alternate from slightly cold to hot) since it was being heated by a machine right outside our window. but it wasn't anything really serious. The bathroom light was a bit dark though. Minor downsides, but totally worth it for the price and environment!

Liked: Lily (the manager) is so helpful, trustworthy and nice. Plenty of great great great advice. Also a great place to meet climbers, which was the point for me. If not meeting climbers, therte are lots of less noisy places around. It is conveniently in the town center, but 'too much in the centre' as it gets noisy.

Disliked: Far too noisy, but that might be because of GOlden week. But it is very very hard to sleep there with the noise of the clubs nearby

Liked: The beds were very comfortable. Lily was awesome. Very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The bathroom had a tap dripping and a wooden wall covering that needed replacing (it was all rotted away) which didn't look clean. The room didn't really have a window and the hostel was too close to the noisy bars on a busy Chinese holiday weekend so we moved. However, on a normal day this is a very good place to stay with great value for money and very friendly and safe.

Liked: Climber's Inn was perfect for our group. We had six girls split up into three double rooms. Lily, the owner, was warm and so helpful the entire time. She was able to help us plan every activity we were interested in. She also suggested some activities we had not thought of before. The hostel will provide towels for free, which is not mentioned on the HostelBookers website. The hostel is tucked in right off West Street. It can be a little loud, but the location was perfect for us.

Disliked: There were no lockers in our rooms. Also, there wasn't always hot water.

Liked: Very friendly Staff and it was very easy to find other climbers. At the end we was 10 Climbers from different nations and had much fun.

Disliked: The Dorm Room was very small, not space for luggage, and climber had much luggage. To get into the higher bed was the first climbing experience in yangshuo :-) and the Bathroom was not really clean....is just a dorm...but for the price was it in the end ok.

Liked: The owners are incredibley helpful in planning activities and logistics for your stay. She rented bikes for us and had them brought to the front door of the hostel. he helped us work out day trips and travel to our next location. She really went out of her way to make our experience enjoyable.

Disliked: Nothing
