Liked: I thought the location of this hotel is good - not far from the centre (a pleasant walk), but away from all the night-time noise of Yanshuo. The owners were very helpful. We booked Sanjie Liu show with them - excellent!
Disliked: We were on the top floor of the hotel which was quite a haul up the stairs at the end of each day - but okay. I did not find the rooms unclean - but also did not feel that they were cleaned each day. (We were also spoiled by our previous hostel in Guilin where, unusually, the beds were made-up each morning). Our bathroom had no window, which I do not like.....and one morning the toilet was blocked with toilet paper - and was found the same way when we came back to our room that evening. I thought the bathroom taps were VERY dangerous - particularly with children. Instead of mixer taps, both the hand-basin and shower had separate hot and cold taps - and the water from the HOT tap was SCALDING! I burnt myself a couple of times and was terrified the children would be scarred for life! We did not eat here at all, partly because there is a wide choice in Yangshuo itself.

Liked: Nearby to West Street area but not right in the middle of it all. Shower was really good. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Bed was just so-so. Not much space for luggage.

Liked: Location was good for us because away from noise but not too far away. Owners friendly and speak english well. good value tours offered.
Disliked: top floor wifi didn't work, so we moved to a another room. They offered the other room immediately when we toid them about the wifi problem so that's nice.

Liked: We liked this place very much - room clean - fresh towels everyday -bed a little hard but we got used to it - we stayed for longer so it must hve been OK. Owners friendly but not always wanting to chat which I think is the way
Disliked: Was a little noisy outside the room, the Chinese always seem to be working but we were so tired after our busy days cycling, walking or bamboo rafting that we slep well.

Liked: staff is very nice and speak english! Very good location, easy to find, and quite during the night. 3min walk from city center, restaurants and bars. VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY
Disliked: there are 4 floors and no lift... so just ask a room on 1st or 2nd floor if you don't want to be on 4th floor...

Liked: Great, clean, inexpensive private rooms. For the price of dorms elsewhere you get an ensuite private room with a comfortable bed. Nice and quiet by China standards.
Disliked: A hotel, not a hostel, not a great place to meet fellow travelers, but a great place to sleep and unwind.

Liked: Very helpful staff and lovely room, great value for money. Bamboo boat ride booked through the hotel on the Yulong river recommended. Rooms cleaned every day and towels changed everyday, also proper size toilet rolls!
Disliked: Nothing, one of the best places we have stayed in two months of travelling around China.
