Liked: Very nice people, Lily, Steven and the nightguard who helped us to play Mahjong. Big room, proper shower and toilet, close to the city centre. Street becomes a bit noisy during the evening but easy to cope with.

Liked: Best owners I've ever seen in China. They can advice you how spend your time in that amazing area. Moreover they have good prices for Water Cave or other sightseeing points. Excellent value for money (triple room: 90rmb per night !). Good location (5-7 minutes to West Street). Really nice stay. I strongly recommend this hostel!

Liked: Look no further, there is a reason this place has the highest rating-- STAY HERE! Unless you're looking for a hardcore party experience, this is the BEST place to stay in Yangshuo. The location is maybe a 5 minute walk from where all the action is, but it means you're closer to a bit of peace and quiet, a gorgeous park, and some very authentic Chinese apartments instead of the overpriced and painfully touristic west street.But the main reason to stay here is because of Steven, the GREATEST HOSTEL MANAGER EVER! Yangshuo is wonderful, but it's full of people looking ot charge you double, triple and quadruple the ticket price. My friend ended up booking several tickets through West Lily with me because they were always cheaper than her Hosteling International hostel. Steve also gives great advice on how to best spend your time, and he's been known to go the extra mile when you're in trouble. I didn't have my friend's number so he told me to hop on his bike and he rode me to her place in a few minutes. How many people would do that?Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Great breakfast, met some nice people both Western and CHinese at breakfast, was able to book cheap tickets, and best fo all, felt like I was safe and could trust the staff. STAY HERE! : )

Liked: hostel was good overall.. however in case you wanna book tickets, consider buying them on site rather than from the hostel..unless you want to pay twice the price.. it's all about bargaining a little.
