Liked: Everything! Not only did the staff make it comfortable, but other fellow travelers made it even better!
Disliked: There was never a hand towel for drying in the girls bathroom and the showers weren't the greatest

Liked: This hostel had the makings to be a great hostel - big comfy dorm beds with nice cosy duvets, clean bathrooms, a nice large kitchen and good funky decor throughout. Unfortunately there were a few things that let it down...
Disliked: Our biggest dislike of this hostel was the fact there is a common area that ALL the rooms back on to and on both of the nights we stayed there was loud music until midnight, and on our last night there were at least two couples in our dorm room having sex. I think the fact that everyone can get drunk in the hostel encourages this behaviour - something I really think the hostel should address. The description on hostelbookers does not mention that there is a bar in the common area which encourages late night partying - there is no quiet time deadline made by the staff like other hostels I have stayed at. If you want to party and don't care about getting a good nights sleep then this is the hostel for you - otherwise stay somewhere else. In addition, during our stay a guy in our dorm room got his charger stolen for his camera - the kind you leave in the plug separate from the camera. This seems completely stupid to me as I can't imagine it would have any value to anyone else - unless they had exactly the same camera which seems unlikely. This unnerved us as it was likely to be stolen by someone in the same dorm room. The bathrooms are all clean, however in the ladies bathroom there is no private area to get dry or changed after a shower - everyone that walks in to use the toilet can see you getting changed. I think this is a major point that needs to be addressed as many women would not be comfortable with this.

Liked: Great dorms with bedlamps, two plug ins and shelves for every bed, big lockers, cute place with a lot of plants and nicely decorated
Disliked: Twice out of three mornings, there was no bread left for breakfast. When I asked about more, they said there was none left (breakfast is until 10 am, I was there at 9.30). Guy that did my check-in was not very friendly, didn't show me anything (other staff seemed to be quite helpful though). After arriving at 6 am I had to wait until 2 pm to be told which one was my room and locker, the 7 bed dorm can be quite noisy at night (window faces the street)
