Liked: It had a really nice view on the river and was close to Algonquin park. Furthermore, the rooms were very pleasant and comfortable. Also, the kitchen was clean and had all the things we needed.
Disliked: The hostel is located in Whitney, a really little village, where everything is a bit dead (well certainly when we were there in the winter)

Liked: The staff was really friendly and helpful, and the hostel / motel included a restaurant (not the cheapest prizes though), a TV-room and a kitchen with a fridge one could serve him/herself from.
Disliked: Our room did not include a window and the air-condition was not adjustable which lead to a freezing cold room upon our arrival. The air condition was also part of a central cooling system which was shut down after the restaurant was closed at 10pm, so you had no control over it. Due to that the bathroom was also quite cold.
