Liked: Amazing service, super friendly hosts, very helpful, very clean, a breath of fresh air after hours of travelling. Very rare to find such an amazing hostel. Would reccomend this place to everyone I know.

Liked: Friendly staff and clean dorms and bathrooms

Disliked: Stroppy young woman who believed, and stated so, that it is acceptable to spend over half an hour making noise from 8.30 am when everyone else was asleep, rustling plastic bags, zipping over and over and sitting on a bed to use a compact while the occupant of that bed was actually in it. How to educate about consideration for others? Of course, this is not the hostel's fault...the hostel was fab!

Liked: I was welcomed very warmly and had the choice between 2 different rooms. The rooms are confi in warm colours with own fridge and air conditioning. The common area is very nice - big kitchen, big dining room and a third room with chess and other games. The staff was great and always very helpful. It´s situated in walking distance to the Townsville CBD and next to the Castle Hill Lookout.

Disliked: The bathrooms and especially the bins were very small. There was hardly no possibility to place anything on it while in the bathroom. No free parking available outside the hostel (fee from 9am to 5pm, 1AUD per hour)
