Liked: The location was perfect right in the heart of Kings Cross. The atmosphere within the building was that it was old & historic like I was staying somewhere old & had a lot of stories to tell.
Disliked: The carport was worn & repaired poorly where the owners laid offcuts to make it look decent. There were cockroaches n flying bugs where I had to buy bug spray to get rid of them. The walls were dirty & had stains on them, the paint was chipping & cracked.

Liked: We left a day earlier.
Disliked: - cockroaches - a smell reminiscent of a mix of asbestos, stale cigarette smoke and some kind of biogical discharge - no windows In our room, only a skylight directly over the bed for a convenient 7am wake-up - constant club music at night and industrial noise in the morning - no private toilet despite what was advertised - ancient bed linen - unvaccumed floors - having lost the key to our room when we arrived, the manager instead gave us a master-key which, have we wished to, we could have used to gain access to every room in the property. - overpriced? Doesn't even begin to cover it. You couldn't pay ME enough to stay there again. I mean a $50 key deposit!? Come on....

Disliked: The owner were rude and the keydeposit is 100 dollars! The hostel is.right next to several stripclubs , it felt like anyone could walk in and out of the hostel. Most of the time there were either kids who screamed(not infants) or adult talking very loud with no signs of respect for others, constantly smelled like smoke.. the firemen came once but the hostelowner told my sick friend to stay in the room even though there was a possibility of dangerous smoke. Have been to many cheap hostels but this was the worst, avoid it at all costs!

Disliked: The rooms were not clean, have a lot of cockroachs!!! That's so terrible!!! I told the staff, 'The cockroach is on e bed, pls change bed sheet and pillow cases.' He didn't change it and very rude, say coarse language with me!!! And the internet always not work!!! That is not match with the website.

Liked: only that it was directly oppositer kings cross station
Disliked: rude, extreamily unprofessional staff. hostel was filthy in every room, kitchen was too unclean to cook in and our room unhabitable. we had to ask for our bedding to be washed and the bathroom to be cleaned because it was clear that it hadnt been done prior to our arrival. we cleaned the entire room ourselves and the cloth was black with dirt!
