Liked: as an ex-Melbournite, iI found it be like a typical Melbourne share house rather than a hostel.

Liked: It has a wicked atmosphere to it. I've stayed at enough now to know the thing that i like best is the atmostphere of the place. It's something the chain hostels can't create. Paul, the owner, is a really chill guy who knows how to direct you around the city to wherever you want to go. He's got a dry sense of humour which is really funny. The place is always really clean and it's really easy to meet people and have a beer with them. I'm actually coming back to stay here at the end of March when my flight leaves to go back to Europe. And it's so much better than Victoria Hall where i unfortunately had to stay for my first night since this place was booked.

Liked: This was not your average 18/19 year-old gap year backpacker hostel. No kids spewing and bawling, only great and interesting people from all over the world. Great atmosphere. You could choose to party if you wanted but there was peace and quiet too. The best hostel i have stayed at in australia/new zealand.

Liked: This place was excellent. Great location, right next to the City, easy to reach anywhere by tram from there. The owner was extremely helpful, the place clean and full internet facilities for only $10 PER WEEK. I chose this hostel for its high customer rating and I was extremely pleased with my accommodation. I'd recommend it highly to my friends who plan on visiting Down Under in Australia. Very universal with travelers from all over the globe.
