Liked: The baby turkey.

Disliked: The lack of lighting outside our room, In the wet and at night It was scary and dangerous. Our window was secured closed from the outside with a brick????? ! What the! And our room was dirty, have a look at the fan and try wiping the food mess off the bedside tables, kind of off putting as It wasn't us!

Liked: Considering the reviews on this and other sites, i was expecting worse! good atmosphere, nice pool, big movie room. can't complain for the price.

Disliked: the place was dirty and run down. I don't think they have a cleaner.

Liked: Quiet, safe, nearby to the many beaches, shops, restaurants, cafes. Value for money.

Disliked: No ceiling fans / air conditioning.

Liked: One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. Plenty of equipment to hire available..bike hire was only $2/day! Staff was very friendly and helpfull. I hope I can come back here!

Disliked: No negatives!

Liked: Had a homely feel, TV room was a nice plus, they had a huge collection of movies but I didn't take much advantage of them

Disliked: Pretty cliquey and the vast majority are long-termers, definitely a working hostel, its located in a residential neighborhood, away from everything (not that there is much in Maroochydore anyway). There was nothing wrong with the hostel itself, it just wasn't what I was looking for, expected it to be a bit more lively.

Liked: Very friendly, helpful staff, always available. Loved the free boogieboard rentals! Lots to do in the area. The free Wednesday night BBQ was a treat :) Felt more like a home than a hostel. Would definitely recommend it.

Disliked: It was a little far to walk to the beach/shopping, but by far I mean about 15-20 minutes, so not that bad. It's close to a bus stop if you don't want to walk.

Liked: The people are so nice, Justin was really helpful and the courtesy bus is a great idea

Disliked: The Hostel is quite far away from everything, which is good for a quiet night but inconvenient. Having sad that the courtesy bus will take you wherever you need to go and pick you up and take you to the bus stop.

Liked: The facilities were very good and clean

Disliked: Many of the 'free' facilities and services advertised were either not free or not offered at all. The surfboards were $15 a day for example. The reception was often closed or unattended and the information that was received by some staff was often incorrect.
