Liked: The warm friendly and very helpful staff, are just one of the reasons for enjoying a stay at this hostel.Great location just a short walk into the main town or if your feeling a bit too lazy for that you can get a massive steak dinner just round the corner at the Inveresk Tavern. I would definately stay here again.

Liked: 1. Location: I was carrying a large suitcase, so the proximity from the bus terminal was such a relief.2. Service: The friendly AND helpful staff made my stay in Launceston (and Tasmania, basically) very satisfying and memorable.3. Facilities: The kitchens and laundry machines were very convenient and the toilets were always kept clean - very important!

Liked: I liked the space, the fact that I could go to the garden for herbs, the nice lounge, the TV's (two of them). HOWEVER, they did make the mistake of putting me, a guy, in an all-girls dorm, and they charge $3 for 15 minutes of Internet use!!!
