Liked: This place is pure shabby chic. Fabulous building, although I can't say I saw any decorative cushions or dried flowers as per the photographs. It's absolutely fine though with everything you need. The staff were helpful and we had the standard bread, coffee and dulce de leche in the morning. Good location near all the shops on Peru. Cheap and cheerful. Enjoy!

Liked: This hostel has a slightly more cosy, homely feel to it, which is a good thing and a bad thing. It is not a hostel for happening night life and loads going on, and if that is what you're looking for, i do not recommend this place. However, the style and the size of the place, made it feel very relaxed. Staff were good, but could have been better. One of the main problem were the showers, which are such an essential in a hostel. There was no pressure and often without hot water. Nice style and feel overall though. Would recommend to travellers seeking a more tranquil hostel.

Liked: Nice hostel, friendly people. Location in the citycenter. Next time I prefer to stay in Palermo, and would recommend this to other travellers.

Liked: Liked the central location and 24hour reception. Always felt secure as had to buzz into the hostel and lockers in the rooms. Dorms nice size with high ceilings.

Liked: Our experience in the Hostel Kaixo was very good! The hostel is in a very good location, you can find subway and bus easily. The places are clean and you can have a good sleep in the hostel.

Liked: Great value, good location, nice old rustic building. The staff were ok. Pretty friendly but very loud at night time, which echoed into our room. Hot water took about 5 minutes to heat up and very little water pressure. Despite this, it was a really nice old building, and we'd happily stay there again.

Liked: A wonderful place with nice big rooms and a beautiful common room. The people working here are amazing - friendly, helpful and fun. Great location, within walking distance to all the different places you want to visit. We loved it!
